As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer at Randstad Canada, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that provide valuable insights into our business performance. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.

- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration and transformation.
- Design, build, and maintain data models and data warehouses.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools.
- Perform data analysis and modeling to uncover trends and patterns.
- Optimize BI systems for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing processes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Scrums).
- Manage and prioritize work items in Azure DevOps Boards.
What you need to bring:
- Minimum 4 year Bachelor's Degree BA or BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Expertise in BI tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Azure Synapse / Data Factory).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Microsoft SSIS, Informatica).
- Experience with data modeling and visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Agile Scrum practices.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Boards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power BI / Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with Python or R programming languages.
- Knowledge of other cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Experience with data warehousing and data lakes.
