As a business services specialist, you will play a pivotal role in rolling out environmental initiatives. Working closely with the existing team, you will be at the heart of the action, informing and guiding organizations regarding their regulatory obligations and compliance processes. From identifying new companies and planning outreach activities to handling administrative follow-ups, your daily work will offer a wealth of both interpersonal and operational challenges. Permanent full-time employment contract (35 hours/week)
Compressed 9/10 schedule: 1 day off every two weeks (70 hours worked over 9 days)
This position requires working from the organization’s office at least 2 days a week; 3 days of remote work

Responsibilities
In this capacity, the role entails the following responsibilities:
Identifying, profiling, and contacting companies potentially subject to EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) regulations;
Clearly and appropriately presenting the legal and regulatory requirements associated with EPR;
Answering company inquiries and guiding them through the registration, reporting, and compliance processes;
Collecting, documenting, and updating information regarding interactions with companies within management systems;
Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective follow-up on contacted companies;
Reporting any unusual or complex situations to the team leader;
Contributing to the improvement of tools, procedures, and communication materials related to outreach and compliance;
Participating in the analysis of reported data to meet the organization’s various strategic needs (tracking outreach efforts, trends, performance indicators, etc.).
Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must meet the following criteria:
College diploma in administration/management or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the position;
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in telephone-based customer service;
Relevant work experience in business development;
Experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite (functional proficiency in Word and Excel);
Excellent written and spoken French skills;
Functional English proficiency (written and oral communication with English-speaking clients – 50%);
Experience with corporate clients or in a regulated sector (an asset).
Aptitudes and Competencies
Strong customer service orientation (listening skills, proposing tailored solutions, courtesy);
Demonstrated communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to secure buy-in;
Demonstrated writing skills;
Analytical ability, attention to detail, autonomy, and initiative;
Aptitude for teamwork;
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different types of clients.
