Responsibilities
Your role and key responsibilities
•Assist the team with file planning and management;
•Draft various resolutions;
•Prepare documents related to incorporation, articles amendments, mergers, continuances, and dissolutions;
•Prepare documentation for transactions and reorganizations;
•Conduct due diligence on minute books and draft reports and corrective resolutions;
•Update minute books;
•Handle document filings with regulatory authorities;
•Perform annual updates of resolutions, reports, declarations, and other continuous disclosure documents;
•Carry out any other tasks related to the department's functions.
Qualifications
Profile sought
- Autonomous business/corporate law paralegal
- At least 8 years of experience in corporate law (corporate and transactional)
- Ability to work in a structured and rigorous manner, maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Fully bilingual (French/English)
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
-communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis
-work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
