Responsibilities
Customer & Tech Support: Promptly manage a high volume of incoming parts inquiries via phone, email, and fax, while efficiently sourcing part numbers for customer and shop work orders.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and optimize stock levels to support both in-shop and field service technicians.
ERP Administration: Oversee the complete administrative lifecycle within the ERP system, including order entry, quote preparation, purchase order generation, and warranty documentation.
Back-Order Management: Track and manage back-orders by securing vendor delivery timelines, updating system data, and proactively communicating delays to the technical team.
Logistics Oversight: Supervise shipping and receiving workflows to ensure all parts are organized, processed, and dispatched on schedule.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–3 years of related experience is highly preferred, ideally within material management or the auto parts industry.
Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy and keyboarding skills (60 WPM), with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Work Ethic: Exceptional time management, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to multitask independently to meet deadlines.
Communication: Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, backed by strong diplomacy and conflict-resolution abilities.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is considered a strong asset.
