Picker/packer

We are currently seeking a Order Picker (Warehouse Clerk) for our modern distribution center located in Pointe-Claire. Working closely with the shipping and receiving team, you will play a key role in preparing orders for customers in the stable and essential pharmaceutical sector.

Status: Permanent position from day one!

Wage: Between $22.00/hr and $23.00/hr depending on experience

The Dream Schedule: Stable day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities
As a core player in our logistics flow, your duties will be diverse and engaging:

Order Picking: Pick customer orders using the computer system according to established procedures, and pack them carefully (boxes, tape, pallets).

Stock Management: Put away incoming goods in their designated sections while performing strict inventory rotation.

Shipping & Receiving: Unload delivery trucks, verify incoming shipments against receiving slips, and wrap pallets and boxes securely.

Safe Material Handling: Operate manual or electric pallet jacks (jiggers) and drive the forklift (if certified/qualified).

Facility Care: Take daily warehouse temperature readings and maintain a clean, organized workspace (sweeping, emptying bins, recycling).

Qualifications
To land this role, here is the profile we are looking for:

Experience: Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations (shipping/receiving experience is a great bonus).

Major Asset: Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a very strong plus.

Forklift Skills: Experience and a valid forklift certification are considered a fantastic bonus!

Physical & Technical Traits: Ability to stand for long periods, strong attention to detail, and a high level of autonomy and efficiency.

Key Skills: Ability to use technology (scanners/computers) and safely operate a manual/electric pallet jack.
