Responsibilities
As a Production Operator - Sanitation and Cleaning, your main duties will include the following tasks:
• Complete production files and tracking logs in strict compliance with established guidelines.
• Maintain the hygiene, cleanliness, and general order of manufacturing areas and workspaces.
• Operate industrial manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the proper functioning of production equipment throughout the entire night shift.
• Perform basic mechanical adjustments on packaging equipment as needed.
• Meticulously weigh and mix ingredients according to manufacturing recipes.
• Perform powder hydration while respecting technical parameters.
• Perform continuous thermal treatment and pasteurization of culture media.
• Inoculate culture media and rigorously monitor the fermentation process.
• Ensure product compliance with quality specifications while optimizing yields (verifying solids percentage, textures, pH, and microbiological quality).
• Perform weight checks on containers, as well as sealing and labeling of finished products.
• Minimize and actively reduce raw material losses related to product manufacturing.
• Perform daily handling of heavy loads weighing up to 25 kg.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
• Mandatory work experience of at least 1 year in industrial sanitation or cleaning.
• College diploma (DEC/AEC) in food processing, a related Vocational Diploma (DEP), or equivalent relevant training.
• Prior practical experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry (considered a major asset).
• Must own a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver's license (car mandatory due to the night shift schedule not being serviced by public transit).
• Physical capacity required for the daily and repetitive handling of 25 kg loads.
• Proficient in French and fluent in English
