We are looking for a Production Support Specialist to join a high-performing technology team supporting critical client connectivity and payment services within a leading global financial institution. This is an opportunity to work on systems that enable secure, reliable connections for corporate clients — where your troubleshooting skills and ability to restore service quickly will make a real business impact.
As part of the Client Connectivity team, you will play a key role in maintaining production stability by investigating incidents, coordinating recovery efforts, partnering with engineering teams, and driving continuous improvements across the environment.

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
Production Support & Incident Management
Monitor and support critical production services, responding to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
Investigate issues through log analysis, monitoring tools, data checks, and technical troubleshooting.
Identify root causes, implement solutions or workarounds, and coordinate recovery efforts across technical teams and vendors.
Provide clear, timely communication to stakeholders during incidents.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Build and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve monitoring, and strengthen service resilience.
Change & Release Support
Support production changes, releases, upgrades, disaster recovery testing, and resilience activities.
Assess operational impacts and ensure services remain stable through change.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
You are a hands-on support professional who can stay calm under pressure and enjoys solving complex technical problems. You bring:
Experience supporting production environments, ideally within banking or another regulated industry.
Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with:
Unix/Linux
SQL
Log analysis
Monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Geneos, or similar)
Understanding of infrastructure concepts including networking, integrations, and service dependencies.
Experience with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.
Nice to Have
Payments technology experience (payment flows, connectivity channels, messaging concepts)
Exposure to Oracle, MQ, WebSphere/Open Systems, or Java/J2EE environments
Experience supporting DR exercises and operational resilience testing
ITIL certification
Experience using AI productivity tools such as Copilot or Claude to improve documentation, analysis, and automation
