Responsibilities
Cloud Migration & Platform Upgrades: Execute technical upgrade and cloud migration activities across development, QA, pre-production, and production environments.
Middleware Containerization: Lead the migration of IBM DataPower from physical appliances to OpenShift Container Platform and modernize containerized integration bus applications.
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS cloud services and OpenShift orchestration tools.
Infrastructure & Security Optimization: Implement PKI security infrastructure, digital certificates, TLS/mTLS configurations, encryption standards, and operating system upgrades (RHEL).
Logging & Integration Engineering: Redesign and deploy Full Message Body Logging (FMBL) components and Java Spring Boot microservices.
Operational Execution & Support: Author implementation runbooks, build books, and deployment guides while managing change management approvals and release processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with network, UNIX, cloud operations, QA, and security teams to resolve technical defects and validate platform readiness.
Qualifications
Middleware Engineering Seniority: 7–10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in middleware engineering, integration services, and platform modernization (Strictly Required).
Core Technology Stack: Extensive hands-on experience with IBM DataPower (migrating physical appliances to OpenShift), IBM App Connect Enterprise, and Java Spring Boot microservices (Strictly Required).
AWS Cloud & Container Pipelines: Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipeline development for containerized middleware on OpenShift (Strictly Required).
PKI & Integration Security: Deep expertise in PKI security, digital certificates, TLS/mTLS, encryption standards, and secure system-to-system communications (Strictly Required).
