As a senior individual contributor, you will oversee complex, multi-phase projects and deployments of varying scales. This role requires a strong blend of physical infrastructure deployment experience, aggressive problem-solving skills, and high-level project management acumen. You will work directly with enterprise customers and internal cross-functional engineering squads to ensure deliverables fall strictly within the applicable scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining peak professionalism in high-pressure deployment environments.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Based out of the Vaughan/Concord, ON corporate office environment, combined with remote flexibility and site travel as required)

Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of high-value fixed video and access control deployments, from formal initiation and resource planning through execution, rigorous monitoring, and final site closure.
Strategic & Physical Planning: Develop detailed, multi-phase project plans, construction schedules, and budgets, ensuring internal technical teams and external trades are allocated effectively.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with internal corporate teams (including IT Networks, Facilities, Procurement, and Cyber Security) to achieve seamless system integration of purchased client solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical delivery point of contact for key stakeholders and enterprise customers across Eastern Canada, translating complex technical risks into clear project updates.
Vendor & Subcontractor Governance: Coordinate scheduling with trades and direct low-voltage subcontractors, evaluate third-party vendor products, negotiate local site delivery contracts, and strictly enforce quality and safety benchmarks.
Financial Oversight: Proactively manage project procurement pipelines, materials billing, milestones, and financials, maintaining absolute data accuracy within the corporate Project Management Information System (PMIS).
Aggressive Risk Mitigation: Identify deployment constraints, structural issues, or network bottlenecks early. Devise creative, assertive contingency plans to absorb scope, cost, or schedule changes without impacting target deadlines.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all fixed installations comply with regional construction codes, legal regulations, Canadian data privacy laws, and baseline enterprise cybersecurity requirements.
Qualifications
Experience: 8 to 10+ years of dedicated, hands-on project management experience, specifically leading technology deployments, critical physical infrastructure rollouts, or complex construction integrations.
Technical Domain Familiarity: Proven professional experience working with at least one of the following systems is strictly required:
Fixed Video Surveillance & Access Control systems
Enterprise IT Networks & Cloud routing
Public Safety communications architecture
Electrical Utility Low-Voltage Distribution configurations
Security Clearance & Licensing: Must currently possess, or have the immediate ability to successfully achieve, a Canadian government security clearance (e.g., Reliability Status or Secret) along with any required provincial security worker licenses.
Mandatory Software Toolkit: High proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Strong preferred experience utilizing specialized project, layout, and video design software (such as Smartsheet, Procore, Visio, Bluebeam, Lucidchart, or enterprise video management/system design tools).
Soft Skills & Professionalism: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. A highly self-motivated professional who commands authority in contractor alignment meetings and projects an elite corporate image to enterprise buyers.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Active, verified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.
BICSI knowledge and/or active technical networking certifications are considered a significant asset.
