In your daily duties as a charged de projet et estimateur, your tasks will be divided between precision analysis and rigorous follow-up:
Perform detailed quantity take-offs according to company standards.
Analyze and compare subcontractor bids to ensure pricing accuracy.
Prepare exhaustive cost summaries including materials, labor, and margins.
Interpret technical plans and specifications to detect any potential constraints.
Collaborate with design teams and engineers to refine estimates.
Ensure communication with superintendents to maintain budget compliance.
Manage change orders and track billing throughout the project.
Supervise the administrative closing of files and final approvals.
Qualifications
To shine in this role of charged de projet et estimateur, you ideally meet the following criteria:
Possess between 3 and 7 years of experience in estimation within the commercial or retail field.
Have complementary experience or a strong interest in active project management.
Perfectly master the tools of the Office suite, particularly Excel for complex calculations.
Be familiar with construction management software such as Procore or MS Project.
Demonstrate an exceptional ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Have a highly developed sense of detail and great analytical rigor.
Be able to work both independently and in synergy with a multidisciplinary team.
