Responsibilities
As the Senior PM for the UMI workstream, you will drive the execution and governance of the following core deliverables:
Business Architecture & Operating Model Refinement: Oversee the targeted validation and enhancement of the Capital Markets business operating model, ensuring alignment with L1/L2/L3 capability frameworks and enterprise growth goals.
Technology & Data Architecture: Manage the development of a resilient target-state technology and data architecture, ensuring streamlined data flows from front-office execution to back-office settlement.
Cross-Functional Interaction Models: Facilitate the design and implementation of clear interaction models, specifically focusing on Product Control / Valuation and the handoffs between Finance and Risk.
Data Governance & Book of Record: Lead the project planning around critical data deliverables, including the definition of authoritative sources / master data, the adaptation of a Capital Markets canonical data model, and target Book of Record design.
Service & Support Design: Coordinate the design of a modern service and support operating model tailored to the high-stakes requirements of a unified Capital Markets landscape.
Execution Planning & Dependency: Shift the initiative from strategy to execution by developing a detailed, phased transition roadmap. Identify critical technical/operational prerequisites, map cross-functional dependencies, and prioritize "quick wins" alongside foundational architecture builds.
Vendor & Stakeholder Orchestration: Serve as the central point of contact to align cross-functional internal teams—including Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Treasury—with the selected vendor to ensure seamless discovery and validation.
Governance & Executive Reporting: Responsible for the active maintenance of all project documentation (RAID logs, Project Charters, and plans) while providing the PLT and Program steering committee with clear, consistent, and transparent updates on project status.
Qualifications
Top Skills: Experience: 5-10 years of senior-level project or program management experience, specifically leading large-scale, transformative programs within Capital Markets or Tier-1 Banking. Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of front-to-back Capital Markets workflows, including trade execution, clearing/settlement, collateral management, market/credit risk, and treasury operations. Technical Acumen: Strong familiarity with complex technology and data transformations. You do not need to be a developer, but you must understand data architecture concepts (canonical models, authoritative sourcing, integration patterns). Execution Focus: Proven track record of taking high-level consulting strategy or "target-state blueprints" and translating them into pragmatic, executable Statements of Work (SOWs) and sequenced delivery roadmaps. Leadership & Communication: Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to effectively communicate portfolio health, manage competing priorities across business units, and drive decision-making speed.
