Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning: Conduct change impact analyses, readiness assessments, and develop comprehensive change, communication, and resistance management plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Program Manager to align project schedules, estimate resource requirements, and monitor work plans.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Assess, manage, and align key stakeholders while building and delivering high-level presentations for Executive and Branch leadership.
• Communications Creation: Write compelling copy and develop engaging communication materials to properly reposition organizational changes for end-users.
• Risk & Metric Management: Identify change-related risks, assist with ongoing issue management, and define/measure success metrics to monitor adoption progress.
• Sustainable Rollouts: Ensure new technology solutions and applications are adopted successfully and sustainably across the organization.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Certification & Experience: A valid Change Management certification/accreditation (e.g., Prosci or similar) combined with a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Technical Project Background: At least 1 year of demonstrated experience working as an Organizational Change Manager on a complex technology or software application project.
• Deliverable Mastery: 8+ years of experience developing core change deliverables (e.g., Change Strategies, Readiness Assessments, Resistance Management Plans, Impact Assessments).
• Communications Expertise: 5+ years of experience crafting effective communication materials for various stakeholder groups.
• Public Sector Exposure (Asset): Experience managing change in a large organization or public service environment impacting 100+ staff is highly desirable.
• Advanced Presentation Skills (Asset): 5+ years of experience delivering tailored communications to everyone from End Users to Executive Steering Committees.
• Technical Setup Requirements: Must reside and work within Canada with a reliable remote setup (Modern Windows or MacOS capable of running Azure Virtual Desktop; Windows preferred).
