POSITION: Business project officier
TYPE: 12-month contract with possibility of extension/permanence
LOCATION: Great location in downtown Montreal
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week (with 1 day of telework)
START DATE: Nov 1st

Responsibilities
Coordinate cross-functional business transformation, AI-enabled, and data reporting initiatives from planning through to execution.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, Data teams, and Business Analysts to align project scope with operational needs.
Support project governance, change management, testing, and production transition processes while ensuring compliance with control requirements.
Track project decisions, dependencies, and risks, maintaining clear communication across all operational and control functions.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support the digitalization of workflows, data quality, and data governance standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Data, Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in project coordination, business transformation, data initiatives, financial services, or a regulated environment.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel required; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Power Query, VBA, or exposure to AI-enabled solutions, prompt/agent governance, and data-risk processes preferred.
Certifications / Background: Candidate may be required to undergo enhanced background screening (including FINRA fingerprinting).
Language: FRench and English is required as you will be dealing with client supplier and colleagues who are outside Quebec (specifically collaborating regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States).
