Responsibilities
Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
· Manage MRP / Demand Planning in SAP for assigned projects and undertake ownership of project material delivery
from material planning to delivery at site.
· Oversight of project Supply Chain activities from demand allocation all the way to delivery to site (and forecast management). Responsible for MRP results analysis, demand management in SAP and resolution of planning exceptions.
· Coordinate with Project Procurement Manager (PPM), category MANAGER (CM), tactical buyers, PMs and Engineering for any design changes, PCNs to suppliers
· Coordinate with tactical buyers to ensure demand planning is implemented throughout our suppliers. Ttrigger and follow-up expediting process as required for the Project
· Define the Logistics Strategy for the Project delivery and communicate with Logistics team
· Responsible for planning, tracking and reporting of all project deliveries in his scope including FCBs and change orders
· Develop and maintain details Supply Chain reports related to project equipment deliveries
· Apply analytical skills to compile various project Supply chain reports
· Relationships will be required to be built and maintained with the following principals:
· Procurement & Supply Chain ( PPM, CM, Production Buyers and Logistics)
· Project team/Site D and/or PPM in countries of destination
· Engineering, R&D and Product Line Managers
· Project Managers, Project Site Managers
· Quality and HS&E to ensure relevant Quality and HS&E needs are met internally and externally
· Installation and commissioning and customer care
· Finance – both business and project related
· Project Freight Forwarders, 3PLs etc
Qualifications
Key Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language
· University/College degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent background.
· 5-7 years' experience related to the planning, MRP, project coordination
· Detailed knowledge of project demand management including scheduling, IFRS15, SAP knowledge for demand supply chain module (demand planning, supply chain allocation, delivery commitment.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and think analytically.
· Proficiency in the using SAP
· Knowledgeable in all standard office tools (xls, word, ppt)
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred attributes for the position, which are not required in the minimum qualifications (e.g., master degree)
Background in RAIL Industry
