      We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a busy Terminal client of ours in the Vancouver area. The position would oversee and be responsible for management of engineering and maintenance projects and environmental affairs as well as permitting and capital projects relating to terminal facilities.Key Responsibilities:Engineering Management-Acts as a signing officer for the Company.-Responsible for the management of terminal engineering projects and related activities.-Responsible for updating and management of engineering records .-Working closely with the Manager, Maintenance, responsible for the management of all terminal maintenance activities.-Assists Assistant Manager, Maintenance regarding management of the engineering and maintenance departments-Assists the Vice President & General Manager with development of operating plans and budgets, capital projects, and long term strategic planning.-Assists the Controller to review and contribute to the Capital Expenditure Plan (CEP) process and oversight.-Confers with the Vice President & General Manager on an ongoing basis to establish Company Policy and to develop strategic plans for the Terminal.-Coordinates the activities of engineering consultants and contractors on maintenance and capital projects.
