The successful candidate will be required but not limited to perform the following duties:• Prepare payroll for submissions• Prepare semi-monthly payroll for employees.• Manage any employee changes/updates.• Account Reconciliations – Prepare and Process Journal Entries• Prepare monthly remittances • Coordinate compensation increases per collective agreements or employee contracts.• Coordinate RRSP deductions per Collective Agreements.• Coordinate bonus related transactions.• Support any audit requests.• Prepare trip settlement sheet for each trip landed and distribute accordingly.• Maintain the employee information in ADP.• Ensure Record of Employment (ROE) are issued as requested from HR• Maintain year to date data excel files - some travel is required -- must have own vehicle Advantages- Full time permanent opportunity- Growth potential- Complex and unique role - 40-45K annual - Monday to FridayResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a candidate with strong excel skills, strong ability to build good working relationships, ability to multitask and prioritize and is very adaptable.**some travel is required -- must have own vehicle **Qualifications• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Strong knowledge of Excel• PCP certification or willingness to obtain, and/or combination of relevant work experience• 1-3 years of relevant experience• ADP payroll software and/or SAP user knowledge is an asset• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written• Good problem solving skillsSummaryDoes this sound like an opportunity that you “Fit” perfectly?Apply today!halifax.staffing@randstad.ca
