Responsibilities
Developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and regression test suites
Performing functional, regression, and end-to-end data validation testing
Validating source-to-report accuracy across SQL Server, ETL pipelines, semantic models, and Power BI reports
Identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking defects using Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools
Validating fixes and supporting release sign-off before production deployment
Reviewing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and reporting specifications to confirm they are clear, complete, and testable
Supporting QA standards, release checklists, quality gates, and reusable test assets
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with data validation, SQL, Power BI, semantic models, DAX validation, data quality assessment, data profiling, and star/snowflake schema concepts. Strong communication skills are also important, including the ability to work with business stakeholders and explain QA findings in non-technical language.
Qualifications
Quality Assurance Analyst for a one-year term to support Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and related analytics products. The role will support the development of a formal QA function for analytics solutions, including QA standards, templates, testing methodologies, release gates, and validation processes.
