Responsibilities
QA Strategy & Governance: Establish, champion, and optimize robust quality assurance practices and methodologies across the entire development lifecycle.
Test Management & Execution: Define testing frameworks, design comprehensive test models (functional, integration, and user acceptance), and oversee their execution in close cooperation with business stakeholders.
Automation & Best Practices: Promote a test-driven development (TDD) philosophy, guide team members on automated testing protocols, and leverage end-to-end automation frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, contribute to defining the "Definition of Done" (DoD), and foster trusted relationships across diverse technical and business units.
Analysis & Problem Solving: Dig into data reports to identify core anomalies, uncover root causes of operational friction, and implement pragmatic mitigation strategies.
Post-Implementation Support: Assist Product Owners in evaluating test outcomes, participate in production deployments, and troubleshoot complex system anomalies post-launch.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of dedicated experience in an IT Quality Assurance or QA Analyst capacity.
Domain Expertise: Proven knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and security concepts.
Technical Tools: Practical experience with market-leading IAM solutions (such as SailPoint, Saviynt) and enterprise application configurations within cloud environments (Azure / Entra ID).
Automation & Methods: Familiarity with modern software development lifecycles (SDLC), DevOps environments, and at least one end-to-end test automation framework.
Agile Mindset: Solid understanding and execution of Lean/Agile frameworks in collaborative team structures.
Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, autonomy, clear communication, and the ability to simplify technical jargon for various audiences.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in French, alongside the professional bilingual proficiency detailed below.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
