PROJECT DESCRIPTION & CONTEXT
This major mandate is part of a continuous initiative to optimize the organization's overall cybersecurity posture. The primary objective is to support the evolution, operations, and maintenance of protection infrastructures, with a particular focus on the Microsoft Defender suite.
As a key expert within the operational security team, you will tackle significant challenges in a complex multiplatform environment while actively participating in the team’s Scrum ceremonies.

Responsibilities
Operational Security Area:
Threat Management: Take ownership of incident response, threat detection, and proactive prevention.
Technical Investigations: Analyze security logs from various protection and detection systems to identify indicators of compromise.
Continuous Improvement: Define, maintain, and publish service health indicators, and provide pragmatic mitigation recommendations.
Controls & Compliance: Design, plan, and follow up on infrastructure vulnerability testing, while keeping security processes and guides up to date.
Technical Support: Act as a key technical resource and advisor for the analysts and technicians within the team.
Projects & Governance Area:
Strategic Advisory: Advise IT development and operational teams on information security best practices.
Enterprise Alignment: Support security groups in designing and executing the organization's information security roadmap.
Quality Assurance: Contribute to updating security frameworks (policies, directives, standards) and ensure the quality of security deliverables.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Senior Experience: Proven track record with solid expertise in Endpoint protection and email security solutions (antivirus, EDR, email gateway).
Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with the Microsoft Defender suite (Defender for Endpoint, etc.).
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform in-depth gap analyses, translate complex issues into clear concepts, and make data-driven recommendations.
Methodology: Excellent understanding and practical application of Agile / Lean principles (Scrum).
Languages: Fully bilingual (French and English) to collaborate effectively within the organization.
ASSETS
Recognized professional security certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
Deep knowledge of industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
Prior experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
Familiarity with secure software development methodologies (SDLC).
