Responsibilities
QMS Governance: Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring absolute alignment with industry codes, standards, and stringent customer requirements.
Technical Authority: Serve as the subject matter expert for QA, providing technical direction, coaching, and compliance oversight across the organization.
Audit Leadership: Develop, manage, and execute internal and external audit programs. Act as the primary QA representative during customer and regulatory inspections.
CAPA & NCR Management: Oversee Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, leading root-cause investigations and implementing effective resolutions.
Supplier Quality: Establish strict supplier qualification standards; plan and conduct supplier quality audits and performance reviews.
Data-Driven Insights: Define QA metrics, KPIs, and reporting structures to identify systemic risks and report performance directly to Corporate Compliance leadership.
Continuous Improvement: Lead optimization projects to streamline compliance workflows and document control integrity.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 5+ years of QA experience working in nuclear, pressure equipment, or similarly high-risk, heavily regulated environments.
Technical Standards: Deep, working knowledge of CSA N299 / N285, ISO 9001, and ASME / Nuclear quality standards.
Audit Expertise: Strong background in leading complex external, internal, and supplier audits (Lead Auditor Certification is highly preferred).
Skills: Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and stakeholders-influencing skills.
Systems: Familiarity with modern ERP quality modules (e.g., IFS, SAP), SharePoint, and digital collaboration tools.
