A company that specializes in manufacturing equipment and production lines for the industrial sector is looking for a Red Seal Field Electrician to join their team in Barrie, Hamilton, St.Catherines, Guelph, Kitchener, Woodstock or Brantford. This role will be to repair overhead cranes so please make sure you are ok to see things from up high!
A field role? Don’t worry, you will be mostly working indoors and not in the harsh Canadian weather. Plus travel time is paid - did someone say over-time?

Responsibilities
As a Red Seal Field Electrician for this great company, a normal day would include:
- maintain consistent communication with clients to collect information regarding technical concerns
- diagnose and rectify issues with electrical and air components utilized in crane systems
- execute scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs to uphold the safety and efficiency of crane operations
- evaluate customer technical inquiries to offer practical recommendations for operation or maintenance
- respond promptly to service requests
Qualifications
Who is the perfect match for this position?
- 3-5 years of experience working as an electrician
- licensed 442a or 309a
- can work at heights
- autonomous, initiative and a team player
- ability and experience to communicate effectively to customers
- VFD experience and mechanically inclined
