Our client is looking for a Report Developer for a 9-month contract based in Toronto (North York) đ with on-site work required 3 days per week. The project focuses on upgrading reporting functionality during the vendor transition and integrating legacy systems with modern platforms.

Responsibilities
âą Update, maintain, and develop WebFocus reports using FEX language and portal tools
âą Build drilldown reports and integrate reporting with web-based UI components
âą Develop, test, and document Java code using industry-standard frameworks and tools like Eclipse and Maven
âą Design and implement SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and functions for Oracle, Synapse, and other RDBMS
âą Collaborate with business teams to ensure reporting solutions meet evolving requirements
âą Conduct unit and automated UI testing for user interface components
âą Deliver technical documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams
âą Ensure seamless integration of new vendor services with reporting systems
âą Work closely with development, QA, and business analysts to meet project deliverables
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 5+ years of experience developing large-scale business applications
âą 5+ years of experience with WebFocus report development (FEX scripting, drilldown reports, portal integration)
âą 5+ years of Java development experience including use of frameworks, Eclipse IDE, and Maven
âą 5+ years of hands-on SQL development â working with subqueries, stored procedures, packages in Oracle/Synapse
âą Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
âą Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across technical and business teams
âą Ability to understand business goals and deliver aligned reporting solutions
