Responsibilities
Staff & Operations Management
Supervise and support operational staff working on-site
Coordinate daily activities to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning property
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and property conditions
Resident Relations & Customer Service
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address concerns promptly
Facilitate strong resident engagement, ensuring respect, trust, and satisfaction
Focus on resident retention through proactive relationship building
Coordinate resident move-ins/outs and maintain accurate resident records
Administration & Documentation
Manage documentation for leases, parking, lockers, and key releases
Process payments, insurance verification, and lease signings
Submit cheques and tenant communication updates to the Property Manager
Code and approve supplier and contractor invoices
Distribute notices and ensure policy compliance
Maintenance Coordination
Schedule maintenance and service calls with contractors
Conduct unit and common area inspections, noting deficiencies and follow-ups
Coordinate and oversee contracted work, ensuring quality and timeliness
Leasing Support
Support the leasing process from application through move-in
Conduct inspections, update vacancy records, and maintain unit readiness
Notify applicants on status and maintain consistent communication throughout the process
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Fluent in written and spoken English
Comfortable with intermediate-level math and property management software
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential property management or a related field
Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent time management, organizational, and administrative abilities
Proficiency in computer systems and software (e.g., Property Vista)
Customer-focused with a calm and professional demeanor
Able to multitask and handle high-pressure situations
Familiarity with vendor relations and maintenance coordination
Strong alignment with core values: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Trust
Special Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to be on-call and work irregular hours as needed
