In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data and strategic action. Acting as a key liaison between sales, finance, and data analytics teams, you will be responsible for tracking trade promotions, managing pricing indicators, and evaluating market trends for major product lines. We are looking for a data-driven self-starter who doesn't just pull reports, but dives deep into the numbers to find the "why" behind the trends and translates those findings into clear, actionable stories for internal teams and retail partners.

Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Promotion Optimization
•Manage and monitor trade promotion plans within specialized software (Sequoya), ensuring accurate data entry, tracking performance, and bringing down key learnings to optimize future business promotions.
•Synthesize, validate, and make sense of data originating from various sources (such as Amazon and retail partners) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for margin improvement.
•Assess profit margins for lower-margin customers and products, providing strategic recommendations to enhance overall efficiency.
Strategic Pricing & Tool Deployment
•Track critical pricing indicators and link pricing strategies directly to key performance metrics, such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and market share, to improve market positioning.
•Implement and roll out advanced pricing tools across specific regions, managing project execution, ensuring user adoption, and providing ongoing support and training.
•Facilitate price and margin improvement projects based on consultative insights gathered across different zones.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Sales Support
•Interface regularly with the sales teams, providing pricing guidance, resources, and training so they can effectively communicate value propositions and close deals.
•Assist in high-stakes customer and retailer negotiations by providing backend pricing expertise and strategic data-driven input.
•Coordinate portfolio and price strategy communications to regional zones, ensuring prompt and accurate dissemination of information.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
•Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Strategy, Auditing, Accounting, OR Vocational Education/equivalent.
Experience:
oNo prior experience required if you hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
oMinimum of 4 years of experience required if applying with Vocational Education in areas such as Pricing, Commercial, Finance, Strategic Management, or Auditing.
Technical & Core Skills
•Data Management Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and Power BI.
•Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail dynamics, and foundational financial concepts like Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), trade promotions, and sales "lift."
•System Aptitude: Comfort navigating complex systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools; exposure to AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Co-Pilot) is highly valued.
•Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to simplify complex data into a cohesive story.
Preferred (Optional) Certifications
•LEAN Six Sigma (Basic/Green Belt) or an equivalent continuous improvement certification.
