Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, code reviews, and red team exercises.
- Define and assess security requirements for IT projects and environments.
- Advise on the resolution of security risks, vulnerabilities, and privacy issues.
- Lead and support security projects as assigned.
- Write detailed reports documenting risks and providing recommendations for a diverse audience.
- Advise on appropriate industry and international security standards.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience conducting penetration tests.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience reviewing source code.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience writing security reports.
- Strong expertise in security architecture, application, and network security testing.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of IT security and contingency techniques, including digital signatures, encryption, and firewalls.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate gaps or weaknesses in security architecture.
- Experience implementing security on complex, distributed systems in a sensitive environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with various operating systems (.NET, Java) and network services is a plus.
