      Looking to join an incredible company with long term benefits and work a straight day shift and grow into a leadership role?We are looking for a licensed Electrician in the Kitchener, Woodstock or Cambridge area to join a manufacturing organization that has strong core values and provides growth opportunities to their team members. The leadership role will be a year or two down the road when the current employee retires. The next 2-3 years will serve as your training period to take over the responsibilities. ADVANTAGES- $37 - $40 hourly to start- benefits are available after one month of employment- profit sharing- RRSP matching up to 5% after one year of employment- 6 paid sick days annually (paid out if not used)-straight day shift, flexible start time, you just need to be there until 6pm each day. - 3 weeks vacation after 3 years of employment- lots of overtime available RESPONSIBILITIESIn this role you will be:- repairing electrical systems such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures- installing new machines and equipment- performing routine PM tasks- performing maintenance and troubleshooting using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC's- working an on-call rotation (not called frequently called into work)- able to work up to 55 hours a week- working with Motoman and Kuka Robots- working with Apprentice Electricians - assisting with assigning tasks to your team membersQUALIFICATIONS- 309A or 422A Electrician license, preferably Red Seal designation with Master Electrician license- bonus if you are also a licensed Millwright 433A- experience troubleshooting and making minor programming changes to Allen Bradley and Siemen's PLC's- able to work up to 50 hours a week on a regular basis- able to coordinate activities with other trades and develop lean manufacturing processes- able to mentor junior Electricians and operators- experience working with Robots, preferably Motoman or Kuka- can pass a criminal record check- able to pass a pre-employment physical assessment- live within 30 minutes of Woodstock or Cambridge- previous leadership experience is desired in this roleSUMMARYif you think you are the right individual to grow into a Lead Electrician, have a strong vision for the future, and want to work in an incredibly stable industry, please apply!call us at 519-763-7775 x2email your resume to stimsouthwestontario@randstad.caapply online at randstad.caPosition not quite what you are looking for?
