      Our client, a leader in the education industry, is looking to bring on QA Analyst for an initial one year contract.This person will be part of their project team and support theirSenior QA lead in working on their new HRMS program. This QA Analyst with work alongside our QA lead, technical delivery team, project manager, our vendor and internal Workstream Leads to support the project team through various QA activities. Some of the required testing activities may focus on system integration, business acceptance, performance operability and deployment verification. This person will support the QA Lead and Workstream lead through various QA cycles and work with both our internal teams and our integration vendor on testing and tracking. The position is available immediately and is expected to be required until October 2022.Advantages- will be able to work from home initially. (a some point , you may be required to come on site periodically (amount to be determined)ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for a QA Analyst who can support our HRMS program through all phases of testing and are dedicated to high-quality application and solution delivery. - Provide support to execute a defined testing strategy and plan.Must be comfortable with highly complex solutions. Experience with cloud ERPs a benefit.- Support the QA Lead and Workstream Leads in test planning, preparation and execution activities within Project with support/guidance from Business Product Lead and Technical Product Lead.- Provide support for QA Lead while they analyze, develop, debug, execute and maintain complex automated test cases.- Assist in coordinating testing planning, support with multiple stakeholder groups both technical and functional.- Support documentation creation, review, and sign-off.- Support the QA lead in prioritizing testing tasks, ensure milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled per the project plan.Assist in executing test cases and collaborate in the severity of issues reported for validity. - Perform test cases, scripts and processes inclusive of manual and automated testing.- Assist with reporting on test planning, execution, and defects to project team using defined standard test quality metrics.-Support test environments with support from technical team.Participate in testing meetings and help with follow-up actions.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.- 3 plus years of experience. - Performing test cases, scripts and processes inclusive of manual and automated testing.- Experience working independently while supporting QA and other project leads.- Strong Excel skills.- Knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices and processes.- Relevant experience in supporting the development of test plans and strategies and support the test execution activities for projects of high complexity.The following experience is a benefit:· ISTQB certified· Experience working with Azure DevOps (test suite and test cases) and/or JIRA· Experience developing automated test cases with Selenium· Experience with Unit and Integration Testing· Experience testing APIs with Postman Summary- 3+ years of experience Performing test cases, scripts and processes inclusive of manual and automated testing.- Strong Excel skills.NICE to HAVE:· Experience working with Azure DevOps (test suite and test cases) and/or JIRA· Experience developing automated test cases with Selenium· Experience with Unit and Integration Testing· Experience testing APIs with Postman Randstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
