Responsibilities
• Lead digital presence and outbound B2B marketing initiatives to expand the sales pipeline across targeted industries in Calgary and beyond.
• Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns including targeted LinkedIn prospecting, tailored email sequences, and digital networking.
• Source, track, and manage competitive bid opportunities (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) through online portals such as MERX, Bonfire, and SAP Ariba.
• Conduct initial discovery calls with prospective B2B clients to uncover organizational needs, qualify leads, and schedule strategic meetings for senior sales executives.
• Mine existing and dormant accounts to identify cross-sell, upsell, and expansion opportunities for software and automation services.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and local business networking functions to build meaningful relationships and generate qualified contacts.
• Collaborate with senior sellers to draft, format, and deliver polished proposals, win stories, case studies, and capability presentations.
• Maintain clean CRM data entry, pipeline tracking, and campaign metrics in Microsoft 365 and digital automation tools to support accurate sales forecasting.
Qualifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to initiate conversations with prospective B2B decision-makers.
• Familiarity or high adaptability with modern digital sales and CRM platforms, Microsoft 365, and social selling tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple deals, campaigns, and RFP deadlines simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and a hunger to achieve targets.
• Strategic research instincts with the ability to analyze client needs and identify high-value business development opportunities.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing tools, campaign reporting, and sales enablement collateral creation.
