Responsibilities
- Execute 100% net-new business development strategies to establish a commercial account footprint across the GTA.
- Manage the full client lifecycle from cold outreach and vendor alignment to final implementation, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Own operational logistics for won accounts with true professional humility, including sourcing product substitutions, managing lead times, and coordinating vendor relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact to resolve client service issues, tracking backorders, expediting urgent freight, and handling administrative orders when necessary.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, warehousing, and corporate supply chain departments to optimize customer fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of proven business-to-business (B2B) outside field sales experience strictly within a product distribution framework.
- Sector Exposure: Experience selling multi-category goods to industrial manufacturers, food processors, or grocery/retail landscapes is highly preferred.
- Skill Set: Demonstrated mastery of 3-to-6-month sales cycles, contract negotiation, and proactive account management.
- Traits: High emotional maturity, long-term persistence, and an entrepreneurial approach to territory development.
- Logistics: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for daily regional travel.
