This role supports a major financial system transformation in a large public sector organization, driven by the implementation of an SAP S/4HANA solution. Integrating into the hypercare team, the successful candidate will focus on triaging support tickets, issue resolution, and user support. Additionally, the consultant will assist the PMO in prioritizing and implementing items deferred from the initial project scope. A key responsibility includes supporting the design and implementation of operating and capital budgeting processes in Anaplan, ensuring integration with the SAP S/4HANA environment for recording and reporting of actuals. This position requires hands-on contribution to process design, configuration requirements, testing artifact development, defect resolution, and validation of proposed functionality against FICO best practices.

Responsibilities
- SAP Funds/Treasury/Grants Management
Provide support for triaging support tickets, troubleshooting, issue identification, and defect resolution.
Support the prioritization and implementation of post-go-live deferred items, including configuring S/4HANA with prioritized changes.
Develop functional specifications for development objects.
Review and update test scripts and test cases, identify test data, execute tests, and develop a plan for regression testing related to implemented changes.
Validate proposed functionality and alignment to leading best practices design specifically as it relates to FICO, FM, TRM (banking), and GM.
Update business process documentation, provide input to required policy updates, and assist in developing communication and new/updated training material.
Analyze end-to-end processes and identify areas of improvement that can be addressed leveraging Standard SAP functionality.
Support the implementation of workflow approvals based on the organization’s Delegation of Commitment Authority.
- ANAPLAN Implementation
Support the design, implementation, and post-go-live support of the end-to-end budget process leveraging Anaplan.
Ensure consistent interpretation of Funds Management structures and controls.
Provide expertise in current state processes and configuration of S/4HANA.
Coordinate between the S/4HANA and Anaplan teams, focusing on data mapping and testing of the integrated solution.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in large project/program management with Government jurisdictions or large private sector organizations.
- Hands-on experience in configuration of S/4HANA modules including FM, GM, TRM, and FICO.
- Experience in delivering at least 2 end-to-end implementations; implementation in a public sector environment with S/4HANA would be an asset.
- SAP Certification in FM, GM, FI-CO, or TRM is required.
- Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, and tools across agile, waterfall, and iterative methods.
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies.
- Proven project excellence spanning Governance, Definition, Planning, Project Management & Control, Financials, and Close-out.
- Strong knowledge of process management and controls to minimize risks exposure.
- Ability to lead efficient communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
