In this critical technical support role, you will be responsible for providing daily Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and its associated modules. You will resolve system incidents, manage service requests, design minor configuration enhancements, and ensure the overall quality, data compliance, and stability of integrated downstream HR environments in accordance with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Work Location: Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week on-site at the office in Montreal, QC, located conveniently near the Pierre-Trudeau International Airport)
Language Requirement: Fluent bilingual proficiency in both English and French is required.
Education: University degree or equivalent higher education.

Responsibilities
Incident & Request Triage: Identify, diagnose, and resolve Level 2/3 Employee Central issues—including complex workflows, Role-Based Permissions (RBP), position/organizational structures, alerts, and time-off tracking—within established SLA timeframes.
Change & Enhancement Configuration: Gather business requirements from HR lines, configure EC and Meta-Data Framework (MDF) objects, execute comprehensive regression testing, and deploy changes securely across Development, Test, and Production environments.
Data Quality & Compliance: Execute, map, and reconcile employee data loads (bulk imports/exports) and mass updates. Conduct routine system audits to ensure strict GDPR/PII compliance and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
Integration & Middleware Support: Monitor and troubleshoot automated SAP Integration Suite / CPI tasks, REST/OData APIs, and SFTP data flows connecting SuccessFactors to payroll (ECP/third-party), Identity Access Management (IAM/Active Directory), and downstream business intelligence tools.
Release & Regression Governance: Analyze continuous SuccessFactors feature releases, evaluate operational impacts on custom configurations, update system blueprints, and implement prompt regression fixes.
Documentation & Peer Collaboration: Create and maintain high-quality knowledge base articles, runbooks, and root-cause analysis summaries. Collaborate tightly with HR Operations, Payroll, and external Application Managed Services (AMS) vendors.
Qualifications
Mandatory Certification: Must hold an active, verified SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive technical experience supporting and configuring SuccessFactors Employee Central infrastructure.
Core Configuration Skills: In-depth technical proficiency with RBP management, foundation data models, business rules, picklists, and event reason derivations.
Integration Literacy: Solid working knowledge of cloud integration patterns (SAP CPI), handling logs, and troubleshooting payload transfer via data protocols (SFTP, APIs).
Support Frameworks: Functional familiarity operating within ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management) utilizing modern enterprise service tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
Data Dexterity: Strong analytical mindset with proven experience executing mass updates via CSV/Excel and building custom reports using Story Reporting tools.
Preferred Assets (Nice-to-Have): Functional exposure to global payroll processing, localized leave/time tracking, and multi-region recruiting or onboarding modules nested within EC.
