Responsibilities
Requirements & Solution Definition: Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements across SAP S/4HANA capabilities, integrations, reporting, data, and security/controls. Maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements to solution build and test evidence. Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate design workshops with business and technical teams to define future-state processes, capture decisions, resolve ambiguities, and secure formal sign-offs. Backlog & Change Management: Support backlog refinement by breaking down requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Conduct impact assessments for change requests across process, data, and testing domains. Design Validation & Delivery Support: Review functional and technical designs to ensure alignment with business requirements, non-functional standards, and audit/control controls. Assist developers and system integrators by clarifying intent and edge cases. Testing & Defect Resolution Support: Support test lifecycle management (SIT/UAT) by translating requirements into high-quality scenarios. Assist with defect triage, issue reproduction, and verifying solution readiness. Governance & Risk Management: Track and maintain key program artifacts in controlled repositories. Escalate cross-workstream risks, dependencies, and scope gaps to protect program timelines and compliance.
Qualifications
Required:
Education: University degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 5–15+ years of experience in business analysis, data management, or solution delivery within large, integrated enterprise programs. Must have participated in at least one major ERP implementation/transformation (SAP preferred).
SAP S/4HANA & Technical Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, standard process concepts, and enterprise integration patterns. Proficiency in SQL, relational databases (e.g., Oracle), and general IS infrastructure/coding concepts.
Process & Controls Awareness: Strong understanding of governance considerations, including segregation of duties (SoD), approval workflows, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
Documentation & Analytical Skills: Expertise in producing high-quality BA artifacts (process maps, requirement specs, user stories, RAID logs) and maintaining strict requirement traceability.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills to bridge functional, technical, and third-party vendor teams.
Preferred:
Professional BA, Project, or Quality certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, Agile/Scrum, or ISTQB).
Hands-on experience with enterprise test and lifecycle management tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Azure DevOps). B
ackground in data architecture modeling, high availability/disaster recovery business requirements, or data stewardship.
