Responsibilities
1. Agile Ceremonies & Delivery Management
Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, driving strict adoption of best practices.
Partner with the Product Owner to build, refine, and prioritize highly technical, AI-focused backlogs.
Proactively identify and remove system impediments, manage cross-team dependencies, and mitigate delivery risks to maintain sprint momentum.
Align weekly sprint outcomes with broader, long-term product and portfolio goals.
2. Technical Fluency & AI Lifecycle Collaboration
Maintain and apply a working understanding of AI/GenAI delivery lifecycles, interfacing confidently with engineers regarding LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
Collaborate meaningfully with AI engineers and architects to navigate MLOps/LLMOps deployment hurdles and productionization constraints.
Help the team translate speculative data experimentation into structured, time-bound sprint goals.
3. Metrics, Coaching & Continuous Improvement
Track and report critical Agile metrics (such as team velocity, burn-down, and sprint progress) to ensure radical transparency.
Provide concise, value-focused health and status updates to executive leadership.
Coach and mentor team members on predictability, self-organization, and continuous improvement frameworks.
Foster a culture of regular reflection to optimize internal development processes.
Qualifications
Core Requirements
Experience: 8–10 years of professional Agile-Scrum experience (Industry senior-level benchmark).
Domain Expertise: Proven track record leading delivery for high-velocity software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML development teams.
Leadership Depth: Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal oversight, drive outcomes independently, and supervise/mentor team members.
Technical Familiarity
Strong conceptual understanding of modern AI architectures (Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings).
Familiarity with data pipeline infrastructure and cloud-based AI productionization (MLOps).
Deep proficiency with enterprise Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and dashboard reporting infrastructure.
