Responsibilities
What You Will Do & Learn:
- Full-Cycle Accounts Receivable & Invoicing: Take ownership of customer project billings, collections tracking, and customer aging schedules.
- Daily Treasury & Reconciliations: Perform vendor reconciliations, credit card reviews, and daily bank reconciliations across multi-entity accounts.
- Intercompany & Project Accounting: Learn and execute month-end intercompany reconciliations across 6 entities, alongside percentage-of-completion WIP adjustments and project accruals.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Assist with month-end financial statement preparation, GST/HST filings, and year-end audit schedules.
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- Accounting/Finance degree and a CPA or later-stages, actively pursuing a CPA designation.
- 3+ years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience in construction, real estate, manufacturing, or project-based industries.
- An ambitious, high-grit junior/intermediate accountant eager to step up, learn complex project accounting, and take ownership of daily operations under CFO mentorship.
- Experience with or strong aptitude to learn QuickBooks (QBO/QBD) or SAP B1, supported by solid Excel skills.
- Positive, high-grit, curious, and excited to roll up your sleeves in a dynamic, growing business.
