Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated QA test frameworks and scripts to validate complex application functionality.
- Identify opportunities for automation within software processes and review existing approaches to drive continuous improvements.
- Execute enterprise-level performance testing, including scripting, scenario design, and analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Work alongside developers, architects, and product owners to establish effective test plans based on feature documentation and business requirements.
- Provide technical expertise for automation tools, ensuring all scripts are under source control, documented, and supported by disaster recovery plans.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing for integrated solutions, APIs (RESTful/JSON/XML), and security components (SAML/JWT).
- Identify, document, and track issues and risks, participating in triage sessions and sprint retrospectives to enhance quality standards.
- Create and manage test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness across reporting solutions and dashboards.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in automated QA testing, framework design, and script execution.
- Proficiency in Selenium, LoadRunner (or similar enterprise performance tools), and at least one major programming language.
- Deep knowledge of API testing (Postman/SOAP-UI), SQL data queries, and security component validation.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience working within public sector frameworks and adhering to standardized project methodologies is highly preferred.
- Experience performing accessibility testing to ensure compliance with global web content guidelines (WCAG).
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities, strong technical leadership, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to various stakeholders.
