Our client, a well known global entity, is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work in their Finance Transformation and Systems team. You will play an integral role in ensuring the needs of the finance team and the technology team are captured adequately and can actioned. You will als oget to work with some excellent tools including SQL, Visio and Jira.
Responsibilities
In this role you will support the requirement gathering process by holding meetings with finance and/or technical experts and translate them into clear documentation. You will also perform data queries, data analyses, challenge requirements, and find solutions to integrate new or update existing data flows.
Qualifications
You have a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst role for a finance team and/or financial systems. You also posses a strong understanding of ETL principles, data elements, data structures, and data modelling. You have knowledge of databases, financial systems, IT systems, and technologies (data warehouse, SQL, SAS, ETL tools, ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, etc.). In addition to this you have excellent communication skills to gather, synthesize, and present clear and complete requirements and are able to interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization. You also have experience within the financial services industry, and hold completion of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems
Management, Business Intelligence, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of a CPA designation is an asset.
