Responsibilities
-Risk Indicator Management: Lead and assist with assessing Key Risk Indicators to identify enhancement opportunities and support the onboarding and maintenance of the program.
-Testing & Compliance: Develop and execute testing programs for design and operating effectiveness to detect process and control gaps, utilizing second-line sampling methodologies.
-Remediation & Analysis: Conduct ongoing key control testing, ensure exceptions are tracked to resolution, and assist business units in developing robust action plans to address root causes.
-Reporting & Governance: Support periodic dashboard submissions and ensure timely responses to second-line reviews and challenges.
-Process Optimization: Identify efficiencies in testing procedures to deliver a streamlined testing experience while participating in ad-hoc risk and control initiatives.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
-Education: University degree in a relevant field.
-Experience: 4 to 7 years of professional experience in governance, risk, audit, or compliance.
-Technical Risk Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures, alongside prior audit or quality control testing experience.
-Communication & Presentation: Strong stakeholder communication skills with comfort presenting data and reports directly to executives.
-Software Proficiency: Solid skills in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word) and analytical software tools.
-Core Competencies: Strong risk mindset, collaborative attitude, and the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines independently.
Nice to Haves:
-Advanced Tools: Experience working with PowerApps.
-Industry Operations: Good understanding of Wholesale banking business operations and processes.
