Our client is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract term of 8 months, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize healthcare and inspections systems, enabling cost-effective, accessible, and compliant service delivery.

Responsibilities
âą Lead business analysis aligned with Agile, OPS Unified PM Methodology, and Digital Service Standards
âą Conduct comprehensive user research (interviews, empathy mapping, card sorting)
âą Prepare journey maps, personas, use cases, and data models
âą Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and business processes
âą Work closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to support implementation
âą Apply re-engineering/Lean thinking to improve service delivery
âą Provide guidance on best practices in BA processes, templates, and standards
âą Facilitate stakeholder workshops and sprint ceremonies
âą Prepare business cases, conduct feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis
âą Support change management and knowledge transfer activities
âą Ensure alignment with AODA and Digital First standards
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą Strong experience in healthcare systems (e.g., EMRs, HISs, OHRS, clinical tools)
âą 5+ years conducting detailed user research and business analysis
âą Hands-on familiarity with the Service Design Playbook, Digital Service Standard, Ontario Design System, and Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021
âą Skilled in data modeling (conceptual/logical), journey mapping, and user persona creation
âą High proficiency in tools such as Miro, MS Office, and BA methodologies
âą Demonstrated ability to work with licensing, inspection, and long-term care data
âą Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills
Nice to Have:
đ Knowledge of PHIPA compliance for healthcare system development
đ§° Experience supporting digital assessments and agile delivery checkpoints
đ Familiarity with cloud-based solution implementations
đ Understanding of data quality, access, and de-identification best practices
đ„ Ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams with clear documentation and demos
