Responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Lead and conduct business analysis to assess complex problems. Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, interviews, and product demonstrations to gather and refine requirements.
- Technical Advisory: Provide expertise on Microsoft Power Platform and MS Dynamics. Translate high-level business needs into technical specifications sufficient for designing robust, distributed technology solutions.
- Process & Data Modeling: Conduct business functional modeling, use case modeling, and conceptual/logical data modeling. Develop process and data flow diagrams to visualize system interactions.
- Agile & SDLC Leadership: Interacts with business stakeholders and subject matter experts using Agile and Unified Project Management Methodologies. Manage user stories and backlogs within Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Feasibility & Business Cases: Develop strategies, prepare detailed business cases, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for major I&IT initiatives.
- Validation & QA: Test and validate I&IT solutions against defined business requirements. Identify, document, and communicate software defects to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Governance & Standards: Advise on business analysis policies and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization. Ensure all designs comply with AODA accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- Experience (5+ years): Proven track record in business analysis for large-scale enterprise applications and client-server architectures.
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform App and MS Dynamics.
- Methodology Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile project methodologies.
- Modeling Tools: Proficiency in use case surveys, business rules definition, and non-functional requirements documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate data requirements into actionable technology designs.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
- Software Proficiency: Experience creating and managing user stories in Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
