Responsibilities
Lead business analysis activities to identify, evaluate, and document complex business challenges and opportunities into clear technical requirements.
Develop strategic business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies for business and IT initiatives.
Perform gap analyses on vendor release upgrades to determine required process, configuration, reporting, and integration adjustments.
Conduct business process modeling, use case modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling, and process flow mapping.
Define business rules, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and functional specifications, translating requirements into epics, scenarios, and visual mockups.
Serve as the primary liaison between business clients, data providers, technical teams, and decision-makers.
Track requirements traceability, monitor project progress, resolve operational impediments, and deliver regular status reports to project leadership.
Establish performance measurement metrics for business analysis evaluations and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Complete thorough knowledge transfer and produce technical documentation as directed by management.
Qualifications
Business Analysis Seniority: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience leading business analysis to evaluate complex business needs and define solution specifications (Strictly Required).
Business Cases & Feasibility Studies: Minimum 7 years of experience developing strategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies (Strictly Required).
Gap Analysis for Vendor Releases: Minimum 7 years of experience conducting gap analyses on vendor release upgrades to identify business process, report, and integration changes (Strictly Required).
Modeling & Requirements Definition: Minimum 7 years of experience with business modeling, use case design, conceptual/logical data modeling, process flow diagrams, and non-functional requirements (Strictly Required).
Stakeholder Negotiation & Facilitation: Minimum 7 years of strong interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills to build rapport and reach consensus across multidisciplinary teams (Strictly Required).
Technical & Epic Documentation: Proficiency in MS Office tools and translating requirements into user stories, epics, scenarios, and mockups.
Public Sector & Legacy Experience: Prior experience in public sector environments working with legacy or cloud-assisted technology solutions.
