Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business analysis to assess business problems and document detailed functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
Design and author expert-level enterprise architecture deliverables, including Checkpoint/Gating Matrices, Logical and Physical Deployment Models, Business Architecture Approaches, Sequence Diagrams, and Data Flow Diagrams.
Prepare comprehensive architecture documentation required for formal architecture review board and gating approvals.
Gather, define, and refine user stories, epics, and acceptance test criteria in collaboration with development and QA teams within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
Conduct business process re-engineering, gap analyses, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit evaluations to optimize service delivery approaches.
Ensure all developed front-end systems, data flows, and integrated solutions comply with security, privacy, and accessibility standards (including WCAG 2.0 / AODA guidelines).
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, JAD sessions, and interviews to develop wireframes, use cases, and process maps.
Maintain requirement traceability matrices, monitor project progress, and develop performance measures to evaluate business analysis outcomes.
Qualifications
Business Analysis Seniority: 10+ years of extensive experience leading business analysis across complex, large-scale IT projects (Strictly Required).
Service-Oriented Design: Proven hands-on experience and actual deliverables supporting Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design projects (Strictly Required).
Enterprise Architecture Deliverables: Minimum 5 years of expert-level experience creating enterprise architecture documentation, specifically Checkpoint/Gating Matrices, Logical/Physical Deployment Models, Sequence Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and Business Architecture Approaches (Strictly Required).
Governance & Standards Compliance: Demonstrated experience conducting analysis to ensure strict compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 / AODA) (Strictly Required).
Agile & User Story Expertise: Hands-on experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and use cases using modern Agile and DevOps frameworks (Strictly Required).
Framework Knowledge: Practical knowledge of architectural frameworks, specifically the Zachman Framework (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
Experience using Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools for conceptual modeling.
