Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Lead the definition process and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop "As-Is" and "To-Be" business processes, use case models, activity diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) using BPMN and UML.
- Participate in UI/UX prototyping, creating wireframes and mock-ups to ensure a modernized user experience.
- Facilitate Fit-Gap analysis for new software products. Provide technical and business services to support RFx processes and evaluate digital solution options.
- Compose ETL specifications, data flow diagrams, and report layouts. Ensure architectural alignment and application design integrity throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support accessibility standards (AODA), security threat and risk assessments (STRA), and privacy impact assessments (PIA).
- Prepare business operational procedures and training materials. Facilitate rollout activities and provide environment/release management support.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in requirements gathering, impact analysis, and JAD session facilitation for large-scale IT modernization projects.
- Proven track record working on legacy system replacement initiatives within a large-scale organizational setting.
- 7+ years of experience preparing business rules repositories, requirements traceability matrices, architecture diagrams, and technical design specifications.
- Experience delivering jurisdictional scans, feasibility studies, and recommending architecture options for COTS/SaaS solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Business Process Modeling (BPM), BPMN, and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
