Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain robust hybrid infrastructure environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations by administering advanced CI/CD pipelines, containerized orchestration systems, and identity and access controls. You will be responsible for evaluating platform frameworks, optimizing application performance across public cloud and on-premises environments, and implementing modern security safeguards to protect infrastructure from vulnerabilities.

Work Requirements: Standard daily business hours, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support deployment events and cutover execution.
Contract Duration: Initial contract assignment based on project milestones, with extension options determined by remaining contract value, unused days, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities
Hybrid Infrastructure Engineering: Design, deploy, and support enterprise cloud environments, Linux solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications, and legacy on-premises systems.
CI/CD Administration: Design, build, develop, and administer robust continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support modular cloud-based solutions.
Environment Configuration: Set up and maintain highly collaborative development environments using industry-standard tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Maven.
Identity & Access Management: Manage and support strict enterprise identity and access controls utilizing Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess application and server performance in the cloud to guarantee high availability and stability.
Vulnerability & Incident Resolution: Identify, analyze, and remediate infrastructure security gaps, while building and testing safeguards to maintain data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Integration & Scripting: Leverage scripting languages and build automation tools to write efficient code, containerize web technologies, and integrate custom APIs.
Qualifications
Must-Haves & Mandatory Requirements:
7+ years of deep experience designing, deploying, and maintaining hybrid infrastructure environments across public cloud platforms (specifically Azure and AWS).
Proven experience managing identity and access controls using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
Expert-level familiarity with setting up development tooling ecosystems featuring Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Maven.
Demonstrated technical capability to design, build, and administer automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
Strong background in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, CoreOS) to support web technologies like LAMP, MEAN, Drupal, and Elasticsearch.
Technical Capabilities & General Skills:
Hands-on proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Git, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
Deep experience in application code containerization (Docker) and container management orchestration (scaling, clustering, and monitoring).
Strong capability in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
Experience applying industry web, architectural, and security standards to API integration endpoints.
Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) frameworks across various versions of cellular and tablet platforms.
