As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the data integrity and accuracy of financial and management reporting. Responsibilities

•Overseeing the completion of month-end reconciliation processes, preparing critical journal entries, and conducting thorough financial analysis.
•Investigating reporting discrepancies and deep-diving into end-to-end accounting processes to identify gaps and recommend optimal solutions.
•Reviewing financial results and proactively communicating variances or issues to minimize surprises during the GL close.
•Ensuring finance-owned SOX controls (including suspense accounts) are effectively and regularly performed to identify and manage risk exposure.
•Driving continuous improvements to streamline operational processes and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
To thrive in this environment, candidates must demonstrate a deep level of practical, hands-on experience rather than just theoretical knowledge.
Must Haves:
•Experience: 5+ years of relevant, hands-on financial work experience, specifically within financial service institutions.
•Technical Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA, and Macros, alongside familiarity with modern AI tools.
•Analytical Power: Strong data management skills and comfort working with a high volume of complex data.
•Core Accounting Skills: Proven ability to investigate accounting issues, manage end-to-end ledger processes, and maintain a sharp attention to detail.
•Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and verbal), a collaborative team-player mindset, and the drive to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves:
•Industry Knowledge: Practical understanding or experience working with lending products, terms, conditions, interests, and fees.
•Systems Experience: Familiarity with major General Ledger applications such as Oracle Peoplesoft & BI, SAP, or ACBS.
