Responsibilities
Audit Execution & Testing: Plan and execute end-to-end audits, independently completing control testing, test script development, and issue management in accordance with established professional standards.
Walkthroughs & Documentation: Independently lead and document walkthrough meetings, and support the development of Audit Planning Memorandums (APM) and Process Risk and Control Matrices (pRCM).
Review & Sign-Off: Complete Level 1 (L1) reviews and sign off on audit activities, including test results, grids, and evidence uploads.
Stakeholder Communication: Manage ongoing communications with internal and external stakeholders—spending roughly 50% of your time in daily collaborative meetings.
Reporting & Issue Management: Write up, validate, and track findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits to ensure missing or inadequate controls are addressed.
Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 8 years of dedicated internal or external audit experience.
Education: An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related Business field.
Certifications: CPA or CIA designation is required. (FRM or CFA designations are considered a strong asset).
Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with MS Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues.
Asset Criteria: Prior experience or deep knowledge within Capital Markets, or previous audit experience , is highly preferred.
