Responsibilities
•Support network security operations, including evergreening and ongoing maintenance of security controls
•Diagnose and resolve complex cross-functional network security issues and vulnerabilities
•Plan and execute testing for production deployments, including performance, failover, security validation, and disaster recovery
•Analyze existing environments to identify security gaps, deficiencies, and improvement opportunities
•Implement upgrades, configuration changes, and remediation actions to address threats and operational issues
•Monitor and respond to network security events and incidents using logs, alerts, and monitoring tools
•Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for security incidents
•Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
•Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and operational efficiency enhancements
•Contribute to strengthening the overall enterprise network security posture
Qualifications
•University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
•Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations and network security (testing, troubleshooting, integration)
•Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switching/routing and Check Point firewall technologies
•Experience in enterprise IT operations, including monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
•Experience supporting CI/CD processes within the development lifecycle
•Experience working with scalable and highly available network/service-oriented architectures
•Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and support network security controls (e.g., firewalls, segmentation, secure configurations)
•Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments with cross-functional teams
•ServiceNow experience considered an asset
