Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that supports the organization’s overall goals.
Product Governance: Deliver comprehensive Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with prioritized features and detailed justifications.
Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and prioritize product and customer requirements to ensure the backlog reflects the highest-value work.
Agile Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams using Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies to deliver digital transformation projects.
Roadmapping: Build and maintain a dynamic product roadmap aligned with shifting business priorities.
Stakeholder Buy-in: Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners through expert facilitation and demos.
Performance Tracking: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.
Documentation: Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements while maintaining architectural governance.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience specifically within IT or digital services.
Project Leadership: Proven track record of leading large-scale digital or IT transformation projects in complex enterprise environments.
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in backlog management, release planning, and discovery work.
Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience with Scrum and Lean product development.
Communication: Exceptional engagement skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive sponsors.
Public Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with accessibility, cybersecurity standards, and IT architectural governance is a significant asset.
OPS Familiarity: Knowledge of OPS Digital standards is preferred.
