Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor and direct a project team through engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning & close out phases to achieve contractual commitments and project objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to achieve a high level of performance.
• Oversee project execution and monitor project progress.
• Identify and implement moderations and review risks and opportunities for project activities.
• Oversee, schedule and track productivity to ensure accurate reporting and efficient project delivery.
• Ensure change management processes are established and adhered to.
• Propose alternative solutions where established systems are unable to overcome project problems.
• Manage commercial activities and processes.
• Manage close-out requirements including: de-mobilization, practical completion, clearance of punch lists and preparation of close-out reports and project financials
Qualifications
• Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence in accordance with project objectives
• Demonstrated success as a Senior / Project Manager in mineral processing
• Tertiary qualifications in related technical fields such as engineering, or construction
• Great communicator with the ability to effective lead, coach and mentor project teams
• Aptitude for and experience with commercials and contracts
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical capability
• Project Management qualifications or training desirable
• A commitment to delivering projects aligned with HSEQ responsibilities and culture
• The ability and willingness to work on remote sites is a pre-requisite for this position
