Responsibilities
• Project Management and General Coordination: Take complete and autonomous charge of assigned projects from planning through to final delivery, acting as the primary point of contact between the jobsite, professionals, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Tenders and Procurement: Plan the strategic sequence of calls for tenders, thoroughly analyze received bids, and negotiate contracts and change orders to optimize costs and timelines.
• Budgetary Tracking and Scheduling: Develop and update the master construction schedule utilizing MS Project, ensure strict adherence to the construction budget, and proactively identify overrun or delay risks to implement corrective measures.
• Site Supervision and Quality Control: Conduct regular field visits to validate work compliance with plans and specifications, support superintendents in resolving operational challenges, and enforce absolute compliance with health and safety standards.
• Municipal Relations and Permitting: Coordinate the preparation and tracking of permit applications with relevant authorities, schedule required inspections, and manage the steps necessary to secure partial occupancy permits.
• Project Closeout and Administration: Drive the contract closeout process, oversee deficiency resolution, collaborate with the accounting department for the release of holdbacks, and compile comprehensive project documentation for final handover.

• Demonstrated experience with "design-build" delivery methods, design management, or complex multidisciplinary coordination (a major asset).
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and municipal requirements currently in force throughout Quebec.
• Complete flexibility and readiness to conduct frequent, regular travel directly to various active construction sites.
