Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Leader for a 6 month contract in North York.
This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities
• Provide project management for the Immunization Repository Consolidation – a large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk OPS I&IT initiative
• Ensure project deliverables meet clients’ business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks
• Interact with senior staff within external partners and manage relationships
• Lead organizational development, strategy development, business planning, and funding requests.
• Gather and develop requirements to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan
• Identify team members in various disciplines, clarify roles and responsibilities, and set task/ deliverable/performance expectations for resources that are both OPS unionized employees, as well as Fee for Service (FFS) consultants
• Resolve resourcing and inter-personal conflicts, negotiate changes to resourcing, ensure knowledge is shared among team members so that project objectives and deliverables are met
• Develop complex project budgets based on multiple funding channels and dependencies
• Effectively manage large project budgets and ensure a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, forecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals
• Use project management tools for recording and reporting project/program data
• Participate in team meetings
• Create/update Integrated Project Management Plan (IPP), adjust and update IPP as per change requests
• Perform reviews of schedule, variance analysis, adjust leads and lags, and revise schedule
• Manage and monitor project progress, critical path activities, and report on slippage
• Create overall project status and project progress reports for project executives and stakeholders
• Identify and manage issues, review issue status, and produce issue logs
• Proactively identify potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed
• Articulate and prioritize issues and risks at senior executive levels, and recommends mitigation strategies for decision makers
• Review change requests, and prepare change requests report to be reviewed by Change Control Board, and adjust integrated project plan accordingly
• Prepare business transformation and adoption plans
• Create and provide knowledge transfer documentation as part of the knowledge transfer plan
• Establish and participate in steering committee and stakeholder forums
• Provide project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels
• Use appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change during all stages of projects - concept, definition, planning, implementation and close-out
• Promote OPS I&IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, adherence to standard methodology, and the control of the use of I&IT resources
• Adopt and adhere to OPS Unified I&IT Project Methodology, OPS/e-Health Ontario Gating process
• Be a demonstrated team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
MUST HAVES:
• Lots of experience with Service Management and Systems Support Design
• Demonstrated experience in data migration strategies, familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), database replication, and API integrations, proven successful experience leading data migration projects
• Demonstrated experience with private delivery partner capacity to deliver technology in a clinical setting
• 5-9 years of experience in the following:
· Project management experience leading and planning complex, mission critical projects or initiatives involving business transformation, and design, development and implementation of IT Health-related solutions
· Identifying, articulating and prioritizing issues and risks at senior executive levels and recommending mitigation strategies for decision makers
· Proactively identifying, managing and working with relevant parties on risk mitigation strategies to ensure commitments and deliverables are completed as per approvals and stakeholder expectations
· Ensure proper transition to operations is planned for and executed
· Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
